REPORTING LIVE FROM VANCOUVER, CANADA:
I have been doing a lot these last few days, and when I come back, I'll post more, but I just wanted to write a quick post about some things a Chinese-American girl said today. She was probably in her late teens. I was in the elevator with her and her family today, and she asked her dad, "Did you pay with US Dollars or credit card?" Her dad said, "Credit card." Then she said, "Ugh. I was at Starbuck's today, and they wouldn't take US dollars! That is so not worth it!"
Maybe she's mistaken the Visa commercial to be US Dollars! IT IS NOT ACCEPTED EVERYWHERE!!! Did she forget that she's in Canada? I mean, I know some, very few, places do accept USD, but come on! Man, she was so ignorant.
