10 days until Christmas.

If the person you're dating or married to doesn't share many of the same interests as you do or isn't open-minded enough to try the things that interest you, I see a dead end in that relationship. Opposites may attract, but for how long? Some day down the line when you want to do something, let's say travel, and your S.O. just isn't into that and s/he won't go with you or doesn't want you to go, then what the heck are you going to do? You can trade up to be with someone who appreciates the same fine things in life as you do or at least is willing to try them out, or you can be stuck in the relationship and go nowhere. Here's another example: You want to invest in different pieces of property, but your S.O. is not willing to make those investments or take those risks. So do you trade up, or do you sit back, rant to yourself, and never own all the property you wanted? Dead end until you trade up.

Those snow boobies are HOT! I don't gotta trade up, I like my lady love.

:O is this a hint?

I believe if it's true... it's about compromising :) and even if there are differences, both parties willing to compromise with each other.

am I too naive? lol

No, it's not a hint. I wrote this before we talked. It's something I've thought about.

If the person isn't open-minded, there won't be any compromise.
