So I went to three McDonalds to get a free Big Mac, and they were either closed, which I guess means they don't have the promotion, or they just said they didn't have the promotion. What is up with that? McDonald's should have a list of participating restaurants on their website. Tonight we went to two McDonald's, and it was actually pretty funny. We pulled up to the drive thru of the first one because we saw that the drive-thru order area still had some lights. We honked, yelled things, but no one responded. Two cars pulled up behind us in the drive thru too. Since we didn't get a response, we pulled up to the drive thru windows to see if we could see someone and ask. When we pulled up to the drive thru windows, the car behind us pulled up to the drive thru speakers and honked. That cracked us up. Either they thought we got to order and they didn't, or they were trying to see if it was open or not. Anyway, while we were driving by the windows, we saw a guy mopping the floor, and he stared at us strangely. Man.. that's a totally uncool promotion if none of the stores are promoting it. At least someone waved us on at the second McDonald's.
