I had a conversation with Rex the other day about how when most people see him nowadays, one of the first things they say is, "Hey, did you get fatter?" He rationalized that people just ask things like that, the same way they ask, "Did you eat dinner yet?" when they call someone.

Ok.. but no one ever asks me if I got fatter when they see me after a long time. Maybe Rex just has to come to terms with gaining weight. ;)
