Humans are so interesting...

Why is it that kids love toy: vacuums, dishewashers, kitchens, etc., yet once they hit a certain age, they refuse to actually do those types of chores. I was watching this kid walk around the toy store with the toy vacuum. She was very happily vacuuming. I give her 7 years. She will refuse to really vacuum the house.

Also, why do parents lie to their children??? I was at this restaurant and overheard a mom telling her kid that if he doesn't listen, the tooth fairy isn't going to come visit him. How do kids feel when they realize their parents lie to them? Are parents really setting a good example this way? :) When you want to get your way, lie. That's what parents are teaching.
