So today was the BAIC Annual Mount Hamilton Meet. It was my first time attending, and it was quite interesting! In the morning, a whole lot of Subarus were lined up in front of D&B waiting to caravan up to Mount Hamilton. There were mostly Impreza WRX, STIs, a few Forresters, and 1 Honda Accord, which parked alone and away from the Subarus. The cars were lined up and down the parking lot, and everyone was checking out everyone else's car. There was plenty of picture-taking. The caravaning part was cool, and I would have to say that was one of the best parts of the event. We took a lot of pictures of the Subarus dominating the freeway and Mount Hamilton Road. The picnic area where we ate was filled with the cars, and there were a total of 153 Subarus. That was the total count they told us. I saw that Honda Accord in the beginning of the BBQ, but didn't see it again later. There were some college kids, 20-somethings, and on. Some people brought their families (babies, kids..). After we ate a meatless BBQ (they ran out of meat.. the people who got food ahead of us thought it was an all-you-can-eat buffet apparently!!! ), we drove up the windy mountain to get to the top to visit Lick Observatory. There we met up with some of the other Subaru owners and friends, plus one cop, who was watching law-breakers from atop the mountain. He had an awesome view of who was driving recklessly and all. So be forewarned! We got a short tour of the big telescope, which was made possible by James Lick. Then a few Subes caravaned back down the mountain.

One of the interesting stories happened in the restroom. There were two stalls and both were occupied by a pair of friends. They had an interesting conversation... It went something like this. Note: Many girls do not have these types of conversations in the restroom. Side question: Are you even supposed to be communicating when you're doing your thing? Some people love to ask questions and talk while you're just trying to get out of there as quickly as possibly. It's like, is the time when someone in the stall sacred? Is it the 'don't speak yet' time? Anyway, back to the conversation.

Girl in Stall 1: Did you fart?
Girl in Stall 2: Hahahaha.
1: Did you fart??
2: Hahahahaha. Shut up.
1. You always fart! What's the longest you've ever farted?
2: Hahahahaha........ Shut up. There's someone in here.
1: I'm serious though! What's the longest you've ever farted?
2: Shut up! Hahahahaha..
1: You know, this is great for psychology. Study of bathroom behavior. (I have to agree with this girl... very interesting topic..)
2: She exits stall and does not look me in the eye.
1:
When they left the restroom, someone heard them saying, "There was someone in there the whole time!"
I guess people could save their fart conversations in the privacy of their homes unless they don't mind. I didn't care. I just found it vastly amusing.
