Two girls are taken to two rooms and locked in there. Both rooms are filled with horse crap. FILLED. One girl starts crying and banging the door, and she continues this for an hour until they finally let her back out. She kicks and screams, yelling, "You let me stay in this room with this stinky horse poop!" (Kicking and screaming continues.) In the other room, the girl cries for a few minutes, and then there is silence. When they go in an hour later, they can't find her, but there's this huge hole in the horse crap. They call for her, and she finally emerges from it. They asked her what she was doing, and she said, "Well with this much horse shit there's gotta be a pony in here somewhere."

Same scenario, different cognitions. What you think about things matters... easier said than done. Make an effort. See things in a positive light. See what a difference that can make.
