I bitch about this often but less so now because I've just avoided them. I'm talking about big group dinners where the cheap lame-ass who orders the most food and drinks wants the group to split up the bill evenly. I end up paying for at least $25 worth of alcohol for other people when I don't even drink! Honestly, how difficult is it to just calculate how much you ordered?! This has got to be one of my biggest pet peeves. I hate people. ;)

This is ridiculous. This was the size of the sandwich I got at Panera Bread. Unfortunately it was a to-go order that I did not pick up, so I could not even make a complaint. I can't believe they would actually serve a sandwich of that size. It was about 1/3 the size of an iPhone. I ate it in three bites. No joke. I put the Ferrero Rocher for comparison. Sure, they forget to give me my chips/baguette/apple and put paper in my french onion soup, but to serve me a sandwich that size is RIDICULOUS!!! I'm boycotting Panera Bread for a while.

Sometimes my friendship with my best friend reminds me of the one Monk has with his assistant/friend. I play the role of Monk, and she plays the role of his assistant/friend. My best friend has wipies and hand sanitizers when I need them! Contrary to popular belief, I don't actually like using hand sanitizers. It just does not have the same "washing off" feeling as water and soap. Instead, hand sanitizer is used to wipe off public tables so that we can enjoy a good game of Bananagrams! :)

I ride the bus on occasion when I need to go into San Francisco. On my last adventure to SF, I noticed something amusing: all the women sat at the front of the bus, and all the men sat in the back. I was the first person on the bus so I watched this unfold. One man initially sat in the front but made his way to the back by the next stop. One by one, the men and women sat in their different sections. I had never noticed this phenomenon before and found it entirely amusing. :)

The Head Chef for Girl Scouts is a genius. They have delicious cookies AND now they are selling these delicious salsa mixed nuts. If you haven't trieed the salsa mixed nuts, you're missing out! The Girl Scouts sell delicious items, and the prices are very reasonable. On the other hand, I recently purchased $20 worth of popcorn from the Boy Scouts.. not reasonable and nothing special about popcorn. The Girl Scouts are on to something..

Robert Downey Jr. has become one of my favorite actors! I really enjoyed him in Sherlock Holmes. The movie was just great, and I thought it was cast really well with him and Jude Law! That's probably the best character Jude Law has portrayed, IMO. I'm also excited for Ironman 2!!!!

This is so ridiculous: MAN CONVICTED OF IN-HOME INDECENT EXPOSURE A man was naked in his own home, and two passerbys said they saw more of him than they wanted. The man was found guilty. I think his defense should have been that those two women were peeking into his house when he was naked. Ha! I think that is so stupid. If the man had been naked standing outside of his home flashing the world.. then that would have been a different story but the guy was in his own house! Come on!

By now everyone has either watched the Youtube video of the Muni incident or at least heard about it. Last night a commercial clip of the news segment to come showed the Chinese woman hitting the other woman, and I thought just by that it seemed misleading. Then when I watched the actual news segment, again the clip of the Chinese woman whooping on the other woman was shown. At the end of the news segment, a clip of the Black woman hitting the Chinese woman was shown. I didn't watch the other news channels so I'm not sure if they all portrayed the incident that way. Anyone who watches the Youtube clip will know the sequence of events, but the news segment sure seemed to alter the true event. I didn't appreciate that.

I've been ready for the holidays since April. My coworker saw the Christmas trees in my office and asked me if I was getting an early start on the holidays. Haha. I told her that I had the trees up year-round. I was told that Christmas decorations were put up in September in the Philipines. They've got a good tradition! I follow that tradition.
i didn't realize i went to vegas four times this year.. i think that's enough for one year. i had a pink's hot dog this time, and it was good but not THAT good. i know, it doesn't look appealing but all that stuff just gets blended up in your stomach anyway. i got the guadalajara dog (relish, onions, tomatoes, sour cream) and added swiss cheese. i can't believe people wait for hours in line for this. i only waited five minutes, and that's because the girls in front of me took a long time!
